Our story

Built for the roads
we know by heart.

Local equipment. Local accountability. A family-run crew that believes doing the job right is the only way to do it.

The beginning

One rollback.
One promise.

In 2011, Ray Mercer bought a well-used flatbed, painted the doors black, and parked it behind his father's machine shop off North Garnett Road.

He knew the equipment. More importantly, he knew the people and the roads. The idea was simple: answer every call honestly, give a clear price, and leave people safer than we found them.

Blacktop now runs a small, modern fleet across the greater Collinsville area. We've grown through word of mouth, repeat customers, and the kind of trust you earn one late-night call at a time.

What keeps us moving

Our standard is simple.

01

Answer the phone

A stressful situation needs a real person, not a maze of prompts.

02

Say the price clearly

We explain the estimate before the truck rolls and flag anything that could change it.

03

Protect the vehicle

The right straps, the right attachment points, and no shortcuts on securement.

04

Leave it safer

We think past the tow—from traffic positioning to where we set your vehicle down.

Miles behind us

Still building.
Still local.

  1. Blacktop opens

One rollback, one two-bay yard, and round-the-clock calls.

  2. Recovery added

A medium-duty wrecker joins the fleet for winch-outs and accident work.

  3. Regional coverage

A second dispatch team expands service through Collinsville, Owasso, and North Tulsa County.

  4. The promise remains

Local ownership, trained operators, and straight answers on every call.

Meet the people behind the wheel.
